On the night of Wednesday, May 8, Russia carried out another massive attack on Ukraine, in particular, terrorizing energy infrastructure facilities. It is known that energy facilities in 6 regions of Ukraine came under attack, and specialists are working to eliminate the consequences.
This was reported by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Galushchenko on his Facebook page.
He pointed out that the Russians do not abandon their intention to deprive Ukrainians of electricity, so they continue to attack energy infrastructure facilities in particular. Galushchenko reports on attacks on energy facilities in 6 regions:
"Electricity generation and transmission facilities in Poltava, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Vinnytsia regions were attacked."
Halushchenko points out: "The enemy wants to deprive us of the ability to generate and transmit electricity sufficiently."
The Minister of Energy of Ukraine also pointed out that "Saving electricity is a contribution of each of us to the victory." He emphasized the particularly economical consumption of electricity in the morning and evening hours.
