The identity of the attacker who attempted assassination of Slovak PM Robert Fico has been revealed.
This is reported by local media.
A 71-year-old native of Lewice identified as the attacker, TV Joj reports.
Local media report that the PM's life is not in danger, but Robert Fico's personal Facebook page posted the following message: "R. Fico was wounded today. He was shot several times and is now in a life-threatening condition. At the moment, he is being taken by helicopter to Banská Bystrica, because it would take too long to Bratislava in view of the necessity of an urgent intervention. The next few hours are crucial."
