The U.S. is looking for a way to provide Ukraine with military-technical innovations to help the Armed Forces get out of the "positional" war

White House is looking for ways to provide Ukraine with modern high-tech equipment for advantage on the battlefield.

This is stated in the article by Reuters.

It is reported that White House officials met with a dozen leaders of venture capital firms, technology and defense companies on January 8. The purpose of their meeting was to strengthen Ukraine's access to modern US equipment. This would enable Ukraine to "overcome technological challenges."

The publication, citing one of the officials, reports that the conversation focused on a range of systems. In particular, they talked about Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Counter UAVs systems. In addition, they discussed a solution to the demining problem.

Jake Sullivan, White House National Security Advisor, insisted on "renewed emphasis on helping Ukraine overcome these key technological challenges that they have identified as inhibiting their progress and momentum on the battlefield".

Among those attending the meeting were executives from defense technology companies, including Palantir Technologies Inc and Anduril Industries Inc, the manufacturer of the Skydio UAVs, and others.

Earlier "Apostrophe" reported that U.S. Congress reaches agreement to avert shutdown and this will allow a vote on aid to Ukraine.
