North Korea has provided Russia with a large number of containers with weapons, the number of which can reach up to 3 million artillery shells.
This was reported by Yonhap with reference to the South Korean Defence Minister.
It is noted that according to the South Korean Defence Minister, since September 2023, after the summit between their leaders, the DPRK has sent about 6,700 containers of ammunition to Russia, which are enough to accommodate approximately 3 million rounds of 152 mm artillery shells or 500,000 rounds of 122 mm artillery shells.
South Korea's spy agency, the NIS, has also announced that "it is looking into suspicions that North Korean weapons made in the 1970s have been supplied to Russia for its war in Ukraine amid deepening military cooperation between Pyongyang and Moscow." South Korea's National Intelligence Service announced an investigation into the case.
Earlier, we reported that 75% of US-made components were found in DPRK missiles.
