Farmers in Poland have come up with a new way to deal with illegal migrants. They have started pouring pig manure on fields along the border with Belarus.
This was reported by CenyRolnicze.
In particular, in a video that has recently started to spread online, you can see how special equipment spreads pig manure over a wide area of the field. The footage was recorded along the border with Belarus.
Participants of the nationwide protest of farmers and the Young Farmers' Movement hope that this will help in the fight against illegal migrants from Muslim countries. According to the participants, the pig manure should scare away migrants because of their religious beliefs:
"We hope that when we pour pig manure, illegal migrants will not pass through this lane because of their beliefs and faith."
It is worth recalling that in early June, CenyRolnicze reported that the so-called "refugee crisis" on the Polish-Belarusian border has existed for a long time. And since some fields are located close to the border with Belarus, Polish farmers decided to voluntarily support border guards in the fight against illegal migrants and announced the campaign "We Feed. We will also defend", namely, they will systematically cover areas of fields with pig manure.
"We will no longer wait for someone to do something. We will defend our borders ourselves. We will systematically pour pig manure on the border strips. We will always support our officers who risk their lives for our safety with our equipment. Farmers feed, but they will also protect," the statement said.
Earlier, we also reported that the Poles announced another blockade at one of the checkpoints.
