Explosions at a refinery and oil depot in Russia

A UAV attacked a refinery in Novoshakhtinsk, Rostov Region, Russia, on the night of June 7. As a result of the explosion, one of the tanks caught fire.

This was informed by the Russian media.

It is reported that the drone attack caused a fire at the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery. The explosion caused a fire in one of the tanks.

According to Russian authorities, the fire spread to an area of 100 square meters. About 120 people and 15 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. The works were suspended due to a second attack. According to preliminary reports, there were no fatalities or injuries.

Local authorities reported that allegedly, only the windows in the security building were damaged by the blast wave.

In addition, on the night of June 7, a drone attacked an oil depot in the Belgorod Region of Russia.

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked an oil depot on the territory of the Starooskolsky Urban District with a kamikaze drone. One of the tanks caught on fire as a result of the explosion. Four crews of fire fighters quickly extinguished the fire. The blast wave smashed windows in the security building. No one was injured," the local Governor said.
